We are so privileged to be invited by the Jubiliarians (STA HS Batch 1989) of St. Theresita's Academy in Silay City to conduct the first-ever leadership camp for their incoming high school student leaders.
Since it would be of many firsts - an alumni-sponsored activity, a leadership camp, and an overnight camp - we made it mutually special.
As requested, the first run of The Dream Camp is entitled, "STAMP 2014," a two-day dream-building/team-building overnight camp held in the STA campus last April 4 & 5.
To make sure that the Stampers are given a very unique experience, they set up their own tents, and even cooked their own food.
The photo shows the Stampers after they were to form a "human circle" in less than 30 minutes, using only their feet. This group did it in only 22 minutes.
At the end of the first STAMP, we gave the Stampers a special privilege, since they are the pioneering batch, to define the "MP" in "STAMP".
Together, they unanimously decided to define STAMP as "St. Theresita's Academy, Moving People."
They ten committed to make their student organization a platform to engage their fellow students to move people.
To the Jubilarians, the STA faculty and staff, and the pioneering batch of Stampers, thank you for allowing us to engage you with Filipino dreams.
Here's to all your 25 dream boards!

Silay City, Negros Occidental - For the third time in a year, STA's Silver Jubilarians GS '85 and HS '89 sponsored a medical mission, this time for the members of the STA community.
Workers from Talyares and selected families from STA's partner communities were also invited to avail of the medical services. Dr. Gladys G. Patindol and Dr. Julian Salvador Vinco of the sponsoring batch and Dr. Maritel Riego Ledesma, also an STA alumna, rendered their medical expertise for this mission.
