The Light of Jesus Community of FEAST Bacolod and STA's class of '85 (Elementary) and '89 (High School) successfully conducted a medical mission and gift giving at Barangay Daga in Cadiz City last December 28.
"Through the efforts and generosity of STA alumni from these batches, we distributed 16 gift packs, toys, school supplies to the families of Brgy. Daga. We also distributed free medicine in addition to the free medical services," said Lormi Rio, chairperson of Batch '89's local core group.
Lormi credited the help Dr. Rosalie Jimenez for the free medicine, and the donations from Eugene and Arbee Catipay for the toys and school supplies, as well as Josephine Yu Salazar and Gloria Magbanua Dioma for the gift packs.
Members of Batch '89 who gave their gifts of time for the mission included: Dr. Gladys G. Patindol, Dr. Jimenez, Maricar Tuvilla, Rochzl Cañal, Belle Buenconsejo, Nenen Maquindang and Marlin Jomalesa.

Silay City, Negros Occidental - For the third time in a year, STA's Silver Jubilarians GS '85 and HS '89 sponsored a medical mission, this time for the members of the STA community.
Workers from Talyares and selected families from STA's partner communities were also invited to avail of the medical services. Dr. Gladys G. Patindol and Dr. Julian Salvador Vinco of the sponsoring batch and Dr. Maritel Riego Ledesma, also an STA alumna, rendered their medical expertise for this mission.
